Between the time of booking and the time of pick up, you can add your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership details when completing your online check-in.

 

How can I earn Qantas Points with Hippie Camper?

 

How many Qantas Points will I earn when I book with Hippie Camper?

You can earn 1 point per dollar spent on eligible Hippie Camper bookings. 

 

What is an eligible rental?

An eligible rental is any road trip booking that is made for a Hippie Camper campervan in New Zealand from 27 September 2023.  

 

What can I earn Qantas Points on?

Qantas Points are earned on the daily rental rate (once discounts have been taken off) of your road trip only. Points are not earned on additional extras, liability options, admin fees, taxes or liability deposits. 

 

How will bonus Qantas Points apply?

If you book a promotion where you are eligible for bonus points these will be applied separately on top of the normal per dollar points. You will see these on your booking as BONUS QFF Points 

 

When will I receive my Qantas Points in my Frequent Flyer account?

Your Qantas Points will be credited up to six weeks from completion of the rental period.

 

I’ve booked through a travel agent – how do I get my points?

Easy! You can add your Frequent Flyer number to your booking by contacting the Hippie reservations team or when visiting our branch.

 

If there are multiple drivers on one booking, can Qantas points earned be divided?

No. We only accept 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer account number per booking. This must be supplied any time between booking your RV and completing your road trip. The QFF number must match the Hippie Camper main driver name for points to be applied. 

 

Can I use someone else’s Qantas Frequent Flyer Number for my booking?

No. The booking needs to be allocated to the same surname as the Qantas Frequent Flyer number.

 

I’d already booked my Hippie Camper road trip without knowing I could earn Qantas Points. Am I eligible for points?

Bookings made prior to 27 September 2023 will not be eligible to earn Qantas Points. However, if  your booking was made from 27 September 2023, you will be eligible to earn points and can add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number at any time between booking your RV and completing your road trip. 

 

If I change my Hippie Camper road trip, will I still earn Qantas points?

If you change your road trip booking to a different date, location or Hippie Camper vehicle type, you will still earn points on the value of the new booking. If you change from a Hippie Camper rental to an Apollo, maui, Britz, Mighty Camper or Cheapa Campa rental, you will still be eligible to earn points on the value of the new booking. 

 

If I cancel my Hippie road trip, will I still earn Qantas points?

No. If you choose to cancel your entire booking, you won’t be eligible to earn points.

 

I’m not a Qantas Frequent Flyer member – can I join and earn points?

Yes! You can join the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program for free at the button below. Then you can start earning with your Hippie Camper road trip! 

 

I have a question about my Qantas Points - who do I contact?

If you have a query, complete the Qantas Frequent Flyer contact form. Alternatively, call the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre on 0800 101 500 between 7am and 7pm Monday to Saturday and have your Qantas Frequent Flyer number and PIN on hand.

Standard Hippie Camper Terms and Conditions apply. Hippie reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. You can view our rental terms here. 

Membership and earning and redeeming of Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.

Please note: Points earned displayed on booking is an estimate only. Total points earned is determined by actual dates travelled and amount spent. 

*Members will earn 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on eligible Hippie Camper rentals.

An eligible vehicle is a Hippie Camper branded campervan. Frequent Flyer details must be provided between booking your RV and completing your road trip to be eligible to earn points. This can be done at the time of booking, the Hippie branch or by contacting the Hippie reservations team. Surname on the booking must match that of the Frequent Flyer account. Points will be earned on bookings made direct and via travel agents. Valid when renting from Hippie Camper New Zealand locations only. Points will be credited up to 6 weeks from completion of the rental period. Age, credit and driver requirements apply.
