    Our American Journey
We have a plan... After doing a campervan trip down the NSW coast last year we're putting together the bones of our three year plan.  Three years to save the money and that will put my oldest in year six - the last year of primary.  We want to fly to Los Angeles, do the parks then hire a campervan and drive to San Francisco and Yosemite.  From there we want to go to Colorado to visit family and a friend...

    My Dream
I would just love the opportunity to visit and travel around New Zealand.  I hear (constantly) from a Kiwi friend how wonderful it is over there. I have friends I would love to visit and as I have some time on my hands and not much in the $$$ this would work out quite well if I was fortunate enough to win...I could send/blog lots of great places I would visit from the mountains to the sea...hmmmm   if only

7 people on a Road-ie Trip from Waiuku to Feilding...YEAH!!
In Feb 2010 Our Eldest son was getting  married in Feilding so we thought that we would coincide our road trip  with two of the most special events in our lives.  It was also our other son Josh's first time in NZ as he lives in Australia. So we converged on our way to Feilding from Waiuku...in 2 vehicles, with tons of luggage, lots of noise and with 6 of our sons.  Stopping along the way to some of our...

    Just In Aus!
Well I've been traveling around the world for just over a month now!  I left home on April 1st and took the Greyhound bus across Canada to Vancouver.  Not the most pleasant road trip, but in the eyes of a budget traveler it's the way to go.  It was also a staple for how my trip is just as much about the journey as it is the destination.  I then flew to Fiji and am now in New Zealand.  I...

Rhys wants to see the world!
We want our 3 year old son to see loads of cool things and have adventures before he starts school. So far weve travelled from UK to australia and live in Bendigo. Now we would love to travel the country and show him everything australian like crocs, koalas the great barrier reef and especially the outback! He loves camping and that would be a massive adventure, better than seeing it in books!!

    From the Goldy to Melbz
My ultimate and most memorable roadie was when my partner and I decided to give our relationship a go by moving me from the Gold coast to Melbourne. My partner drove all the way up, picked me and my puppy up and we roadied it all the way back to Melbourne to start a new life!

    Byron Bay!
We took the trip of our lives to Byron Bay for my best friends 18th in January, it was amazing! We're hoping to plan a roadtrip there again as soon as possible, the people, the beach, the night life, the whole town!, it was all so incredible :)

    Kyacking at Kalbarri
The Dad & Kids holiday expanded to all 4 of us this year. We love going to Kalbarri - enjoying the beautiful weather, exploring the township and especially the reef. Trouble is, there is a 300m inlet to cross to get there. With only one kyack, we worked out an ingenious way to get there (think of the fox, chickens and grain riddle!!) It might have involved 3 trips, and us all getting a little wet but we had a...

    Ozzie Roadtrip Down Under
G'day! We have spent over 5 months in Australia, travelling with a Apollo Hitop Camper. It was the most amazing trip we have ever made and couldn't have done it without our beloved campervan. We have been travelling for more than 15 000 kilometers trough Australia. We began in Sydney and after spending a small week over there, we picked up the Apollo Hitop Camper and of we were. From Sydney we have travelled to the South towards Melbourne passing by beautiful...

If we're out of our minds, it's alright with us
That's it. We've done it. Our first batch of flights are booked and there's no turning back. Hurrah! This time next year we'll be the furthest away from home we've ever been - in sweet-as New Zealand. We'll get there via India, South East Asia and of course the sunny land Down Under. Then - all going to plan - a hop, skip and a jump across South America will then lead us back home to reality in Twickenham, London.Both...

    NSW Coastal Camping
I love camping on the NSW South Coast. I have camped in many areas of the S/Coast but with the Ultimate camping gear we could arrange a family trip including all of these areas in an extended stay. Tathra, Gillards Beach, Picnic Point, Mumbula Falls. What a dream break for our family.

Who Knew A Road Trip Could Be So Educational?
Having just returned from a campervan trip from Perth to Monkey Mia I feel compelled to document some of the stories that my travel companion and I have after our week long exploration of the North West coast of Australia. Such was the range of hectic adventures that us two delightful Irish ladies could very well have died... Just kidding, we’re not really ladies. Seeing as we managed to make the journey with no money, no map, and only a pinch...

    The Overlander Highway
In 2004, I drove across the Overlander Highway from Townsville to Darwin with my boyfriend. We stopped and stayed in the small outback towns along the way, including Cloncurry and Mount Isa. We learned all the local dialect, including a multitude of ways to swear without using a four letter word, as well as learning about the interesting history of this area.

    Out there!
We trekked North of Cairns in a campervan.. to return to a previous homplace in the stunning Daintree Rainforest. It was awesome to arrive at the Wallaby Creek music festival and to be surrounded by many campers setting up their "tents". We felt very rude yet inside we were ecstatic to be able to slide the van door, get the chairs out and just sit! Ahhhhhh... now this was camping. We sat there momentarily in bliss... listening to the various...
